Microloft is a compact residential project designed within a 15 m² space in Antalya, characterized by a narrow footprint and generous ceiling height. The project explores how spatial constraints can be transformed into architectural advantages through vertical organization and minimal living principles. The entire design and on-site execution were carried out by Omi, in collaboration with Meltem Öztürkmen. Rather than expanding horizontally, the project introduces a lofted sleeping platform, allowing the lower level to remain open and flexible. This approach maximizes usability while preserving spatial clarity and daylight flow. The interior is defined by simple materials, light tones, and custom-built elements, creating a calm and functional atmosphere that supports essential daily needs without excess. Microloft is conceived as a minimal living unit — efficient, adaptable, and honest — where architecture responds directly to scale, proportion, and lifestyle.
